Massage Tables & Couches

Beauty therapists use massage tables for massages, waxing and facial treatments. It can also be used for non-surgical medical clinics for skin treatments, body treatments or injectable treatments such as filers/botox for their clients. Chiropractors and Osteopaths also use massage couches to perform adjustments on their patients.

Natural Living stock a large variety of massage tables, massage couches and spa couches. They can come in the option of 2-piece or 3-piece sections. Our collection include static massage couches, electric-operated or hydraulic-operated massage couch and portable massage tables. They have plush thick comfortable upholstery.

Massage Tables Features

Our range of massage tables comes equipped with face holes and infill cushions. The gas lift system operates electric massage tables, allowing for adjustable height or backrest positions via an electric foot control. We provide hydraulic lift massage tables or couches as well. Certain collections feature memory foam and removable armrests for added comfort. Our portable massage tables incorporate patented anti-lock hinges, closure straps, an anti-lock leg system, and non-slip feet for enhanced stability. They are also equipped with retractable casters, facilitating effortless mobility. Designed with functionality in focus, these tables support various weight capacities, ranging from 68kg to at least 270kg.

Our collection uses oil and water resistant material CFC and comes with soft PU upholstery. A selection of the tables have extra padding and they feature the exclusive NanoSkin upholstery. Our portable massage tables have aircraft-grade aluminium legs and steel support cables. The base is typically made of wood and is free from formaldehyde and carcinogens, in compliance with the Californian Air Resource Board (CARB). Our hydraulic massage tables are made from high-density fire retardant foam and feature hardwearing anti-microbial vinyl.

Portable Massage Tables

When investing in a portable massage table, several important features warrant consideration to ensure both comfort for clients and convenience for therapists. Here are key aspects to keep in mind:

Portability

As the name suggests, portability is paramount. Look for a massage table that is an appropriate weight for moving around with, whether you are taking public transport or driving your car, it should be easy to carry, in order to prevent injury. Consider the table's weight and whether it comes with a carrying case or handles for transportation. We also stock portable massage table trolleys, so you can wheel them around.

Sturdiness and Stability

Despite being portable, a massage table should still be sturdy and stable to provide a secure platform for treatments. Check the table's weight capacity and the quality of its construction materials, such as aluminium or high-grade wood. At Natural Living, we only stock the highest quality and materials so you can be sure it won't fail you when you need it most to rely on being professional.

Adjustability

A great feature for a massage table with adjustable height settings to accommodate therapists of different heights and ensure ergonomic positioning during treatments. Additionally, adjustable backrests and face cradles offer versatility for various massage techniques and client preferences. This will be beneficial to both your client and yourself.

Padding and Comfort

The comfort of the massage table directly impacts the client's experience. Look for adequate padding, preferably with high-density foam, memory foam, or if you are looking for luxury, Comfortflex foam, to provide sufficient cushioning and support. A table with a comfortable face cradle and armrests enhances relaxation during treatments.

Upholstery Material

<span>Choose a massage table with durable and easy-to-clean upholstery material. Vinyl or PU leather are common options, known for their water-resistant properties and ease of maintenance. Ensure the upholstery is oil-resistant to withstand massage oils and lotions commonly used during treatments. A select few of our Master portable massage tables come with a heat function embedded into the foam top as well.

Width and Length

Consider the dimensions of the massage table in terms of width and length. A wider table accommodates a broader range of clients and allows for more comfortable positioning during treatments. Likewise, a longer table ensures taller clients have ample space to stretch out comfortably.

Accessory Compatibility

Check if the massage table is compatible with additional accessories such as bolster cushions, armrests, or carrying carts. Having the option to customise with accessories enhances its versatility and functionality for different massage modalities.

Durability and Longevity

Invest in a massage table built to withstand regular use and provide long-term durability. Look for features such as reinforced corners, strong hinges, and quality stitching in the upholstery to ensure the table remains in excellent condition over time.

Warranty and Customer Support

Prioritise brands that offer warranties and reliable customer support. A warranty provides peace of mind against manufacturing defects, while responsive customer service can assist with any queries or issues that may arise post-purchase.

Budget and Value for Money

Finally, consider your budget and the overall value offered. While it's essential to find a table within your budget, prioritise quality and features that meet your specific needs to ensure a worthwhile investment in the long run.

By carefully evaluating these important features, you can select a massage table that meets your requirements in terms of functionality, comfort, durability, and value for money, ultimately enhancing both your practice and your clients' experience.
