Alain Bianchini is a highly skilled and passionate sports massage therapist with seven years of experience in the field. Starting his career as a holistic masseur with an ITEC qualification, Alain has continually advanced his expertise through professional development courses, including deep tissue massage.
Driven by a desire to provide therapeutic interventions that alleviate pain, prevent injuries, and enhance overall well-being, Alain pursued a Level 4 Sports Massage qualification at St. Mary’s University, a renowned institution in the field.
In 2024, Alain competed in the NMC for the first time, participating in the Freestyle and Chair Massage categories. His outstanding first ever performance in the Chair Massage category, saw him fall just four points shy of the podium. Alain now looks forward to returning in 2025, striving to achieve even greater success in these categories.
About the National Massage Championship
Founded in 2018 in partnership with Professional Beauty, the National Massage Championship is hosted annually at the Salon International event at ExCeL London. This prestigious competition celebrates the dedication, skill, and diversity of qualified massage therapists. Participants from all walks of life demonstrate their techniques and innovation across a range of categories, including:
- Advanced/Clinical Massage
- Freestyle Massage
- Swedish/Deep Tissue Massage
- Spa/Wellness Massage
- Eastern Massage
- Chair Massage
- Facial Massage
